VIN tag on front definitely says 1979. There are 3 wires going to horn/kill. weird. but if the horn/kill has 3 then def stick to the after 76 wiring diagram. After 76 they had a different style of tank decal and wiring scheme but damn if that doesn't confuse me when the vin states 79 and the tank looks 76 style.

The 1980 Motobecane Moby 50V is a popular model of vintage mopeds made by French company Motobecane. It is a piston port 50cc engine with dual clutches and a variator.
